Finding Your Style
Determine the right hair style for you by considering three simple questions:
- What is your home decorating style?
- What type of music do you listen to?
- What are your favorite colors?
Although each of these questions don't immediately make you think "hair", your answers can tell a stylist a lot about what is right for you. If your home decor style is electiv, you like hard rock, and fushia or purple are your favorite colors, you won't go wrong with an edgy, short hair style. If you enjoy traditional classic, like classical jazz, and perfer muted earthtones, a subtle, understated bob style might be right for you. If you're more modern and like textures, a cutting-edge shattered bob may suit you well.
When defining your hair style, you should also take your face shape into consideration. Learn more about the right hair styles for your face shape.
When you look at yourself, try to see yourself how others see you rather than being critical of your faults and flaws. The blemish or scar you may be focused on and try to hide might not even be noticeable to others. The honesty of looking at yourself through someone else's eyes may make you see something new that can help define your personal style.
